We built this YZ250 upper motor mount for a customer in Richmond using out Markforged system. This mount pair is made in Onyx with Kevlar reinforcement. In this case Kevlar is the best choice due to vibration and shock loading of the part.
We had no original part to go by for this one so the owner made a paper template in order to determine hole size and location. From that template we re-drew the part, compared notes back & forth a time or two, and made the pieces.
